Nascut in Germania, Executive Chef Schleifer a fost intotdeauna fascinat de arta culinara, care, ulterior i-a definit si cariera. Are o experienta de 20 de ani in industria hoteliera si a restaurantelor in diverse tari precum Germania, Malta, Tanzania, Egipt sau Emiratele Arabe Unite. 

Practica sa in bucataria internationala, impreuna cu o adevarata pasiune pentru artele culinare si noile tendinte in domeniu, va oferi clientilor hotelului Radisson Blu o dimensiune superioara a ceea ce inseamna experinta culinara.  

"Suntem incantati sa avem il avem pe Executive Chef Nicolai Schleifer ca parte a echipei noastre", explica Markus Kraus, directorul general al Radisson Blu si Park Inn by Radisson Hotel & Residence Bucharest. "El aduce cu sine o combinatie incredibila de experienta pe termen lung, realizari si viziuni de anvergura. Executive Chef Schleifer detine o diploma de licenta in managementul hotelier si un master in arte culinare, specializare pe domeniul ospitalitatii/turismului in managementul hotelurilor si restaurantelor, cu accent pe arta culinara. In ultimii 20 de ani, a lucrat in hoteluri precum Danat Al Ain Resort/Al Ain, Kempinski Hotel Ajman - UAE; Kempinski San Lawrenz - Gozo Malta; Kilimanjaro Hotel Kempinski / Dar es Salaam - Tanzania sau Kempinski Hotel Airport München - Germania. 

Pe langa educatia si experienta sa, Executive Chef Nicolai Schleifer a fost implicat si in servicii de voluntariat, fiind membru al comisiei de examinare din cadrul Camerei de Industrie si Comert (IHK) München si Oberbayern. 

"Astept cu nerabdare sa incep acest nou capitol al calatoriei mele culinare", spune Executive Chef Nicolai Schleifer. Unul dintre preparatele sale preferate este Beer Marinated Pork Tenderloin with Rye Spaetzle, beer pickled vegetables and mustard jus (Porc tenderloin marinat in bere, cu rye spaetzle, legume murate in bere si sos de mustar). Pregatit cu carne de porc Mangaliza, acest fel de mancare satisface chiar si cele mai exigente gusturi.

About Executive Chef Nicolai Schleifer

Executive Chef Schleifer who is born in Germany, has always been fascinated by the art of culinary, which has defined his career. He has 20 years experience in the hospitality and restaurant industries at various international locations such as Germany, Malta, Tanzania, Egypt or United Arab Emirates.

His expertise on international cuisines together with a true passion for the culinary arts and new culinary trends will bring the Radisson Blu Hotel Bucharest guest’s dining experience to the next level.

Executive Chef Schleifer holds a bachelor's degree in Hotel Management and a Master in Culinary Arts, specializing in the area of hospitality/tourism in hotel and restaurant management, with an emphasis on culinary arts. Over the last 20 years, he has worked in the hotels such as Danat Al Ain Resort/Al Ain, Kempinski Hotel Ajman – UAE; Kempinski San Lawrenz – Gozo Malta; Kilimanjaro Hotel Kempinski/Dar es Salaam – Tanzania or Kempinski Hotel Airport München – Germany.  

In addition to his education and experience, Executive Chef Nicolai Schleifer has been active in the voluntary service being a member of the examination board in the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) Munich and Oberbayern.

One of his favourite dish is Beer Marinated Pork Tenderloin with Rye Spaetzle, beer pickled vegetables and mustard jus. Prepared with meat from Mangaliza pork, the dish satisfies even the most demanding tastes.
